I nearly fell out of bed when I heard this.
England will advance to the next stage of the twenty-20 cricket world cup and
this is despite the fact their match against the Irish was completely washed
out without as much as a single ball being bowled.
England advances under the net run rate worked out by duckworth and lewis and
due to the fact England have scored more runs and conceeded less runs than the
Irish.
What a joke can you believe that?
The irish are unlucky again, just like the soccer world cup qualification match
they had against France where the French player cheated even admitted it
afterwards.
Glad I have not watched this, think I will give it a miss if they are treating
this like a joke anyway.
So all Australia has to do is turn up against Bangladesh, hope it rains, and
hope their net run rate gets them to the next stage as well.
