According to SkyMap Pro, the moon will be barely 7 degree above the horizon
at sunset and will set 45 minutes later. It's age will be 14 hr 30 Minutes
old.
Sounds like a challenge.

Subject: [AZ-Observing] young moon
Hi,
Tomorrow evening, 4/17, will be our chance to see the most young moon of
the year in AZ. It will be about 15 hours old at sunset. Good luck!
Clear skies,
Mark
