Thanks for the last second (literally) notification of the ISS pass, Jack. It 
was great! I read your note, ran outside, saw what appeared to be a jet coming 
our way, but didn't see any blinking lights, called the wife out to look, and 
we enjoyed the sight. It passed nearly overhead here in Benson. 
I also stayed up late to see the impact area on Jupiter. It was pretty obvious 
in my 13-inch and appeared bi-nuclear under good seeing, one spot larger than 
the other. The smaller, darker one precedes the larger, paler one and is more 
southerly. I saw a white oval near North of the larger spot. Good detail on 
Jupiter's surface tonight. The impact site crossed the central meridian about 
1:30am local AZ time or about 2 hours later than the Great Red Spot, which 
itself had a large, elongated barge following it. We also had a fire truck pull 
into the yard looking for a reported fire at 2am when I was closing up for the 
night, luckily none found. I thought one of the neighbors had died. Interesting 
night...
