Steve,
Depends upon which way you are converting. MST = UT minus 7 hours.
So, to change MST - TO - UT, you would ADD 7 hours. UT = MST PLUS 7 hours.
To wrap your head around this problem (not the other end...) or
inotherwords, "do a sanity check"...
It is already daylight (and nearly lunch time) in London (as I write
this at near five am, Phoenix time.)
