[AZ-Observing] Re: cubicle astronomy

Yes it does appear to be a comet--maybe the recent Hoenig  The starfield in
the ad is actually repeated 3 times in different directions to fill the ad
space (I guess there weren't enough stars in the sky to make a big enough
photo?)  The familiar place to me is a red star with kind of a check mark
asterism next to it and the teeny Orion's belt next to that.  I wrote to the
company asking if they knew the part of the sky used in their ad.  Of
course, I'm not seriously expecting a reply.  Hopefully I'll find a
reference to a checkmarkOrion'sbeltasterism in my oberserving notes
somewhere. . .
