Depends on how cold it is, how much dew.and what size heaters. I start with
2 large Mega warmers (if I've found them)strapped around the tube
http://www.handwarmers.com/ then add more as needed. On eyepieces I keep one
heater in my pocket with the eyepieces and one rubber banded to the in use
eyepiece.
