starting to get adjusted .... there are a zillion tourists here and what better
place to be than on the mediterranean coast of turkey. snow capped mountains to
the west in the distance, the old with the new, old roman ruins flanking modern
hotels and the horns at the mosques blaring the call to prayer am?dst the
cacophony of cell fone melodies. seafood delicious here but have not found a
sushii bar yet.
had a turkish bath and my first layer of skin is gone. should sleep well
tonite.
tomorrow heading for the c?ty of s?de to meet with turkish astronomy friends i
made in 2004 during the venus transit. skies were clear today and hope same for
the next 2 days.
turkey is great!
