Yes, it's closed a fair bit in the past decade. Buried at the
USNO-Washington double-star site are recent speckle observations,
he most recent of which (about a year ago) put it at 0".68.

At that separation 6-inches aperture should show the pair as somewhat
overlapped but clearly not a single star. Gotta have good seeing of =
course.
