Bob,
I am planning to go to Vekol tonight. I have not been there in a few
years either, but as far as I know the only thing that has changed is
that some portion of the road has been paved, but it is still dirt from
the fork on. Look at a newsletter, there is usually a map in there.
The only tricky part is at the freeway. Going west, exit at 144, then
turn south and cross the freeway. Then you loop around to the right,
but before you get back on the freeway you make a left turn. That will
put you on the Vekol road southbound. It is about 2 miles to the fork
where the sign says Vekol Ranch. Go right at the fork for 0.9 miles.
The site is on the left (east) side of the road.
Anyone else planning to come?
