Based on my amateur meteoroligist ;o) interpretation of the animation the CMC
appears to be forecasting that dry air from a broad flow running west-east
across Baja and Mexico will expand northward into Arizona. If you look at the
16-km Water Vapor animation at RAMSDIS
(http://www.cira.colostate.edu/ramm/rmsdsol/main.html ), you'll see the dry
air flow I'm referring to. It's already starting to make some headway into
our neck of the woods er, desert. By Friday morning, I'm guessin' we'll see a
pretty clear indication of whether or not that Pacific system will be pushed
north and around Arizona by that dry air flow.

Regards,

Bill
