As John Polacheck pointed out a couple weeks ago tonight's crescent moon
was pretty young, fortunately the telescope was already setup with a
TV-76 refractor piggybacked, I just had to pull the covers off, slap a
camera in and focus (not trivial), of course a Nexstar without power and
computer is a bit of a pain to slew by hand. The resulting photo below
is at about 20 hours old.
