Rick and Tom,
Thanks for the input. I pretty sure that the larger spot was the shadow of
Ganymede. It was about 1/4 to 1/3 of the planet diameter S of the N limb.
The other spot was further north and trailing it, perhaps just a cloud
disturbance. I tried to download a "Juplet" program to show the shadows,
but it crashed my computer. Also, I'll pass on the 2:30 double shadow
event. The scope is already packed up.
