Typically my remote digital thermometer reads higher than reported
for Phoenix, but since I have 2 and they agree I think they must be
close. And no they are not in the Sun. Also,
I think it was at least 10 degrees hotter out on the road. Around my
house was not too bad, but once I got on Camelback I noticed an large
increase in pain. I remember many years ago at an air show in
Goodyear the temperature on the hanger apron was 135 and they sent
like 450 people to the hospital. That was hot.
Next time I will take my portable Harbor Freight thermometer and get
readings on the road.
