I was in Prescott yesterday in the mountains pouring concrete for my
6" refractor pier.

It was partly cloudy and rained very hard for 15 minutes. Coming back
to Phoenix, north of Cordes Junction the sky was black. Headed to
Phoenix the sky was near cloudless.

The point is for the Cherry Star Party next weekend, I hope the
reverse is true. It would be good to get next weekend reports from
the Cherry area as Phoenix can have exactly 180 degree different
weather.

If Stan is at his place in Dewey perhaps he can give us a report. He
can see almost to the site from his observatory.
