So what would be >the best viewing time - 5:30am or between 3:00am - 4:30am ? >Thx for the help, >Silvio. 1030 UT is 3:30 MST or local time in AZ. Check the following link for the prediction curves. You can select one for Phoenix. It looks like things start about 2:00 AM MST and peak at 3:30 AM MST. http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2002/09oct_leonidsforecast.htm This may be the last chance in our life time to see something like this. Let's hope for clear skies. I plan on watching from my cabin (7,500') on the east side. The idea is even though there will be a big moon, the high attitude will not have as much glow from it and on the east side I will be shielded somewhat from the moonlight. That's my idea any ways. I do know I will probably freeze my buttski off. :-) Jeff Jeff Hopkins HPO SOFT ********************************************************************* Phoenix, Arizona Atlanta, Georgia 7812 West Clayton Drive 12170 Boxwood Circle Phoenix, AZ 85033-2439 U.S.A.
