[AZ-Observing] Re: Thanksgiving Sky

Hi All-
I imaged this area last march with a borrowed 70mm Pronto (forgive the
blue halos). With several of the equally bright belt stars of Orion in
the frame, epsilon is the only one to show any hint of striated nebulosity
near it. The field is full of other IC objects easily identified in
Uranometria, which evidently removed NGC 1990 in the "new" version. Check

which is a 24 minute equivalent exposure with Pronto and 20Da.
