[AZ-Observing] Re: Sunday not too hot either....NGC6885/6882

Not exactly one of the showpiece objects of the Herschel 400. And they
supposedly sat and deliberated on this/these objects (trying to make an even
400?).

My Herschel 400 notes from Oct 1999 for NGC6882 say "Nothing to look at
here, except a small faint 'Pleiades-looking' asterism to the NW. Very poor
cluster", and for NGC6885, "A faint circle of stars with several brighter
stars superimposed. Includes 20 Vulpeculae".

The Night Sky Observer's Guide has a good photo of the area, and notes the
ambiguity, calling them "not readily distinguishable as separate entities".
This will be much fun to reobserve at Sentinel in Dec.
