Got a call from Andrew Goodwin about current weather conditions so, as I
had already planned, took a look at the weather reports for this evening
and tonight. Here's what I found. The satellite animation shows clear
for most of Arizona with what little clouds are around are headed away
from us. The 9pm forecast from Clear Sky Clocks for Cherry Rd is quite
reasonable, seeing questionable, humidity on the rise and winds light to
moderate. NWS has partly cloudy, slight chance of showers and winds to
20 mph.
I'll take the first two forecasts as the more accurate and plan on
heading out to Cherry Rd leaving my house at 5:00pm. Anyone wishing to
join in is welcome. Meet me here at 5pm or at the site. I look forward
to a chance of using telescope after such a long absence.
Clear skies,
aj
