[AZ-Observing] Re: Star Party Rules


Honestly, discussing star party etiquette at club meetings and supplying
rules via newsletters and flyers will help, however I seriously doubt this
issue will resolve, specifically at large gatherings.  Perhaps posting an
entrance sign alerting attendees to use running lights only, park near the
exit if leaving early and drive slowly through the field to prevent
kicking-up dust may also help matters, but again, not everyone will follow
the rules, and accidents happen.  I guess be tolerant, and if possible,
politely talk with people that do not follow observing etiquette.
