[AZ-Observing] Spectrophotometry Meeting near Prescott, Arizona

A small group of us in Arizona are having a meeting at my home and
observatory, Blue Hills Observatory, on Saturday September 6, 2008. The
plans are to have presentations (there will be video equipment
available) and informal discussions related to spectroscopy and
photometry. I have a 16'x36' kitchen-living room area which will be
plenty adequate for this meeting. I have not settled upon a format for
the meeting yet because it will depend on how many attend, but this is
not a star party. The meeting will start sometime in the morning and go
into the afternoon. The night is open. If you would like to attend send
me a private email message so that I can adequately plan this event.

One problem for anyone traveling long distances within or outside of
Arizona is housing. My house is available for anyone that needs to sleep
overnight before heading out the next day, but the person would have to
bring their own bedding (foam mattress, or whatever). In lieu of this
attendees can camp on my five acre lot if they have a tent, travel
trailer, or RV. In years past I have had star parties here and many
would do just that. If none of this is adequate, a motel, about 10 miles
from my doorstep, is the only other alternative.
