[AZ-Observing] So much for that idea...

The vehicle is loaded... folding lounge chair, bug repellant, munchies
and drinks, binoculars, and the Losmandy mount to be used as a tracking
camera platform. And there it sat, looking at the radar and IR GEOS-10
shots every hour from about 10 til 1am when I gave up in disgust and
decided that the Persieds were a lost cause and went to bed.
I wake up this morning and it is still heavy overcast with a
thunderstorm wandering loudly across the city. While yesterday at dawn
it was almost completely clear. The rather perverse relationship
between we amateurs and mother nature demonstrated in the extreme yet
again.
