Thanks for the report, I was hoping that those who went out would find it
doable.
I was considering coming out, but with the prospect of poor transparency or
clouds,
I just couldn't bring myself to do it. Of course, knowing that I had a
Sunday full of last minute
shopping and getting the house ready for guests figgered into the equation,
and definately
impacted that decision.
Here on the West side of town, I'd peek out every hour or so, and it was
always partly cloudy,
with the clouds moving fast enough to be a problem for any lengthy
observing. By 3 a.m., it was socked in.
Again, a Merry Christmas to all of the group.
