[AZ-Observing] Re: Sentinel next weekend

I plan to arrive on Friday afternoon and we can do some road work on Saturday 
to pass the time.

Yes, we bring food to the site and eat there, I bring a single burner stove to 
heat up a can of stew or soup.  We do ask that you don't run the burner at 
night so folks can keep their night vision.  During the day, I chat with other 
folks, read a book or try and nap.  I have a new tent that does a good job of 
providing shelter.  On Sunday I might drive into Gila Bend for a bag of ice and 
a hot meal.

One of the problems with Sentinel is that the bushes are the bathroom.  This is 
why we enjoyed having a porta potty at the site for the big star party last 
year.  With all the road work going on at the railroad tracks maybe we can 
drive up and use one of toilets meant for the workers.  Bring your hard hat.

I am not a cell phone user, but I think AJ's cell phone does work at Sentinel.

I can't help you with your wife.  I happen to know that Linda and Pat (my wife 
and AJ's wife) are happy to get us out of the house for a weekend.
