Sounds great (for 10 miles of bad road). If you would be willing to lead a 4wd group, we would be willing to watch you try it! Can't go myself, I tried it once in my hi-clear 2wd pickup and got within a mile of the summit before walking the rest of the way and saving my transmission from a terrible fate. 4wds should have no problem. Scopes and eyepiece cases better be well-tied and cushioned hey! Jack Are there any Astronomers with 4-wheel drive vehicles who would be = interested in observing from the old solar observatory near the top of = the Harquahala mt. ?? I would be willing to lead a group up the = mountain on Saturday July 6. We could meet at the Eagle Eye observing = at 1600 and drive up the mountain. Plan on staying all night, as it = would not be safe to drive down in the dark. If interested please = respond before noon on Saturday.
