[AZ-Observing] Royal Society

Thought this might be of interest to forum members. Listed below is a
link to the Royal Society (England) Archives web site. The Royal
Society has placed all the records of their proceedings and scientific
papers online at this site. Until December, it's use is free to all who
register online at their web site.
The Archives begin with the year 1665 and continue on to present day
entries. The papers printed are in their original form, so reading
something like "A Spot in One of the Belts of Jupiter" (Vol.I,1665)
takes some getting used to, as opposed to reading the early papers of
Stephen Hawking. The tracts come up in Acrobat Reader format. The list
of contributors since its inception would be a list of Who's Who in the
scientific world for the last 400+ years....Isaac Newton, Ernst
Rutherford, Thompson, etc.

Best,
Janis
