I get it that at opposition we will not see the main dust tail because it

is directly behind the coma.  I don't get why at that time we will still

see the anti-tail, will it not be directly aimed at our position and so

also be overwhelmed by the coma?

 

I plan to look for myself, it will be interesting to see.

 

Can someone post the exact date and time of opposition?  I have looked for

it but can't find it so far.

 

We had a good look at it on Thursday night at the Antennas.  As so many

have said, the anti-tail is the most obvious I have ever seen.

 

There are photos of Arend-Roland from 1957 which had an obvious anti-tail,

but that is the only other I know that had so easy an anti-tail.

 

It is nice to have a naked eye comet with some detail to view.
