[AZ-Observing] Roadless Act Input Sought by State

Why should you be concerned? Anyone who uses the rural roads in the
National Forest, e.g., for star parties, should be concerned. The
Forest Service has ben bent on closing as many roads as possible.
Some of this was struck down by a federal court in 2003. There are
still some major problem. There is a meeting tonight (Monday, 10 July
2006, 6 - 9 PM)at the Arizona Fairgrounds Wildlife Building, 19th Ave
and McDowell. Written comments must be received by 31 August 2006.
