Hi Steve,
Did you check zeta Aqr? I have PA of 180, shows 249 in DS list v.1 (1990).
Jack
>Howdy all;
I am working on an update of the SAC double star database and need some
double checking, please. I have used Brian Workman's double star calculator
Excel spreadsheet program to determine the motion in the future of some
famous doubles. I know that a few of you use the program to determine the
orbit of stars, would you please check these and make certain that the notes
I have written are accurate.
The motivation here is that the old SAC double star data was rarely used.
So, instead of creating a huge database of over 10,000 stars by paring down
the WDS, we decided to put together some smaller lists from people who enjoy
doubles and have created smaller lists that we could combine. That is the
plan.
We have used the SAC double star list, the Mullaney and McCall articles from
sky and Tell, and several other lists to create a database of over 1500
multiple stars at this point.
So, take a look at these and see if you agree with what I have written.
Thanks for your time and effort;
Steve Coe
