Of course Joe is right. There is no hope. To add insult to injury, I have
sealed our fate irrevocably by buying Russ Chmela's 20" Obsession. Now I don't
need clear skies, I can spend all my time available futzing with the
telescope. It would be good for you all to immediately become amateur
telescope makers. They never observe, I hear. You can make telescope after
telescope and if anyone ever asks what they are for, kill them.

another week of RAIN. If it ever clears it will take another 6 weeks to dry
out, so those of you who do not own a dew shield can observe. I guess it's
time to find another hobby that is not weather dependent. I'm not sure if
it's my age or the weather, but I can't remember the last time I had a good
night of observing. If we ever get back to Sentinel, be sure to bring your
weed wacker cause you are going to need it.

rained out today.
