There may have been, but just nothing that interested me. The software
display in the new and improved main hall annex was very light. Software
Bisque had a modest disply, but nothing from Cyanogen, David Chandler,
Main Sequence, or most desktop planetarium software dealers. SkyMap Pro
had somebody there for a while, and Tom Mathis set up Voyager III again,
which is mostly neglected in amateur astronmer circles. It seems like
Guide or Starry Night could have a representative set up in that room, and
clean up, based on the number of attendees who make the trip on a mission
to spend hundreds of dollars.
The way binoviewers have picked up in popularity (Jim Gutman's binoviewer
mailing list has nearly 500 members), I thought several manufacturers
would put products out on display. There may have been other innovative
products at the camp, but somebody else who is more interested in them
will have to make that report.
