Brian.....The nearest information I can get for this and I quote:
"Now astronomers have discovered what looks like a pulsar that's only
about one light-year from this black hole."
I don't know if you've ever caught these two or three minute blurbs
recorded for "Earth & Sky" hosted by Joel Block and Deborah Byrd. It's
on our local classical station KBAQ in Phoenix. This blurb was about
pulsars in general, but mentioned specifically the above.
I've been wading through Google off and on all day and am coming up with
zip. Does the above quotation bring anything recent to mind that you
know about? Sorry the info is so scant.
