Looks like the shallowest slope is between 11h and 15h, where one fourth of the
NGC objects occupy one sixth of the R.A. That band contains many of the
galaxies in Ursa Major, Coma, Canes Venatici, and Virgo. The Supergalactic
Plane contains many of the nearby galaxies that were bright enough to appear in
the NGC.
The steepest slope is between 19h and 22h, and it includes the dull part of the
sky in Capricornus and Aquarius. But it also includes Cygnus. The NGC is a
catalog of mainly galaxies, though.
