Interesting creature. I imagine the conventional interpretation is that
someone, a human, walked over to the telescope in the image with a red
light. The waviness of the streak is the bob in their walk. However, it
is obvious that the 'someone' behind the telescope that did the walking
is not human, but instead is some strange as yet unknown creature.
Although we don't know much about this strange creature, we now know
that it likes to participate in star parties and is considerate enough
to do so with a red light.
