There may be some truth to that, Herb. I forwarded the sunshine summary up
to Chuck Dethloff, who lives near Portland, Oregon, and you must know from
the Oregon Star Party. He replied with the numbers from his calendar:
"Counting tonight which will be clear, my weather calendar for our house
shows for the first 15 nights of Feb:
5 completely clear nights
3 partly cloudy nights
7 cloudy or mostly cloudy nights.
For January:
3 completely clear nights
4 partly cloudy nights
24 cloudy or mostly cloudy nights.
Central Oregon of course would have slightly better numbers."
