Yes, Discovery makes an excellent product - haven't seen a bad one.
Nice observing report - considering the conditions. BTW, I first discovered
NGC6522/28 in the 8-inch back in 1987 and have enjoyed the view many times
since. The dark lane you mention wasn't looked for. Perhap's I'll give it a
try with the 14.5-inch.
