[AZ-Observing] Observing south of Sedona Saturday night

The Coconino Astronomical Society has been invited by the Sirius Lookers
club of Sedona to observe at their "Two Trees" site south of Sedona this
Saturday night. Apparently there is no problem with others attending this
event as there is plenty of space, and amateurs from as far away as Nevada
are expected.

In any case, directions we've received are appended below. I have not
observed from this site myself, but it sounds like it is quite open,
possibly with some minimal light pollution from Cottonwood (and more
likely Phoenix) to the south. For those approaching from the south (e.g.
Phoenix) it would probably be best to exit I-17 at exit 287, take Rt. 260
to Cottonwood, and go north on US 89A to left onto FR 525, although you
might wish to have a good map that shows that turn-off.

I plan to arrive well before sunset - hope to see some others on this list
there.

From Sedona (uptown- at 89a & 179hwy.) Go about
        8 miles...south on 89a to cottonwood..
When highway speed changes up to 65 mph hour..
go 1 mile and turn right onto forest service road(525).
Go another 1/3 mile and stay to the LEFT (at big Y )
and go another 1/2mile to viewing site on the left..
It is just before the Radio Control mini airplane field.

We will have signs out for location. (orange cones).
