[AZ-Observing] Re: Observing Sunday Night?

Bill, hope you have a good night of observing! Wish I could join you!

I'm trying to get enough money socked away that I won't have to work
anymore. I'm at least 8 years away from that day. At the rate prices keep
going up, maybe I'm 28 years away from that day, if ever!

My job typically prevents me from doing Saturday or Sunday night observing -
I work most Sundays and weekdays. I am hoping to be able to do some Friday
night observing when the monsoons clear up, since I've been taking most
Saturdays off.

There have been a couple times I took some vacation days and was looking for
someone to observe with (like you are for tonight) on nights other than a
Saturday. We have quite a few retired members at EVAC, but never found
anyone who wants to observe overnight. Found some who wanted to observe and
leave early, and found one who would go if we stayed for 2 or more days, but
nobody who wanted to observe till the wee hours, catch some zzz's for a few
hours and then come back the next morning. That's my usual MO.

Good seeing!

Randy Peterson

You free tonight?

I am going to the Picacho Peak campground. I was unable to find an
observing partner and thought that was as safe as could be arranged in the
short time allotted. I will take the tent trailer and stay overnight.

You are welcome to join me, I have extra room.

I am leaving around 5:30pm

Call me if you want to "join up"
