Hi, All!
Does anyone have any observations of Omicron Dra (aka STF 2420) that you
could pass to me? (Use my private email account, not AZ-Observing, so folks
won't get a lot of unwanted email in their inboxes.)
This pair is the subject of study by a friend of mine in Australia who is
writing a paper and he needs some information from amateurs on their
observations of this neat pair to help him prove (or kill) his thesis.
Here are the particulars:
Omicron Dra (47 Dra, STF 2420)
Position: 18h 51m RA, +59d 23m DEC
Measures: 36.1" separation at a PA of 320 (the separation is increasing and
the PA decreasing; these measures were made in 1992, and it may have seen a
little displacement since then)
