I think it was September 2001 that I was on a SAC sponsored trip to Mt. Graham.
It
was odd that whereas it appeared all the mountain top trees, from a distance,
seemed to be dead from the beetle infestation, the trees immediately surrounding
the observatory site was immune. Does anyone know the status of those trees now?
