[AZ-Observing] Morning Comets

In anticipation of observing Bradfield and Linear, last night I packed up the
car with my 8 inch f4.5 and set the alarm for 3:30 am. I was on the road at
4:00 and was heading for the Saguaro Lake turnoff on the Bee Line highway. I
found a convenient parking spot to observe from at about 4:30.
I first located Linear with a 32 mm eyepiece. I would estimate it at about Mag
3 with a very diffuse tail about 1/2 degree long. I saw dawn approaching and
quickly scanned northward for Bradfield. I immediately found it about 25
degrees north of Liner. It provided a more pleasing view in my telescope with
the 32 mm. It was more condensed but the tail was much more evident and was
about 2 degrees long. It appeared to be brighter than Linear, but I believe
this was due to its smaller surface area. Bradfield is definitely the most
visually pleasing comet I have seen since a morning comet I observed ~2000 from
Arizona City (I believe). Can't recall its name.

By this time the predawn sky had lightened to a point when further observation
was an exercise in futility. I'm looking forward to observing Linear in the
western sky during May and June.
