[AZ-Observing] More on M61 supernova

     Another CBET circular has a description of the spectrum of
this event from the Harvard-Smithsonian folks using a telescope
on Mount Hopkins near Tucson.  The spectrum shows it is a type II
event roughly one month past maximum, and also reddened by dust
in the galaxy itself.  So even if it had not occurred during
conjunction, it would not have been a particularly bright object.
