[AZ-Observing] Re: Monsoons and this weekend

Howdy all;

Matt and I are heading west to the Eagle Eye site that I mentioned at the
SAC meeting.  Yes, it will be hot...but cloud free.  Lots of stuff building
up over the Rim and moving toward Prescott.

If Eagle Eye is a problem (there is a fire on Harquahala Mt.) then we will
come back to the usual site at Flatiron.

It is Friday at 3:30 PM.

Directions to "Eagle Eye" Survey site

Get on the I-10 freeway going west, as if going to Los Angeles.
Take Salome Rd. (exit 81) right and stay on Salome Rd. north for
10 miles from the freeway.  Take a right (north) at Eagle Eye Road, the sign
says "Aquila 27 miles".  Go 10.1 miles (about 2 miles past the sign that
says "Harquahala Mt. Road") and turn left (west).  Go 1 mile on the dirt
road and don't turn.  The site is right there, a campfire pit with a white
plastic survey marker.
