I activated our family sky-watch network and we all took a few minutes
shivering and enjoying the view. We'll be setting up the binos again
tonight for a little moon-gazing after the wee ones are in bed.
I took a couple of pictures through the lens of my 10x50 binos which turned
out pretty well, all things considered. They are by far the best sky shots
I've ever taken.
Merry Christmas!

Don't forget to take a moment to go outside and look at Mars and the Moon.
The pair is about 2 degrees apart and look really neat! I'm getting the
camera set up now and if the thin veil of high clouds in the East dissipate
should be able to get some good images.
