[AZ-Observing] Re: MI250 GEM

John, Wil, All, I have a MI 250 GOTO with 8" ATS Pier that I am going to
sell, along with extra counter weights, and Polar Scope. I have had it
around 1 year and used it maybe 4 or 5 times. It is like new and an
excellent unit, but as most of you know it is not quite big enough to carry
my RC12.5" and all of the accessories so I have purchased a Paramount ME. I
would like to give this group first shot at it before I list it on
Astromart. As you can see from the picture (see attachment) it will hold my
RC12.5, and ST8E at 70 pounds, but is a bit much. (It was designed more for
50 pounds.)

I am going on vacation leaving today, so if anyone is interested please call
my cell phone and we can discuss. (602-617-2303). When I get back July 9th
anyone is welcome to come over and check it out. It is in like new
condition and used very little (not enough time). You can find out more
information about it on Mountain Instruments Web site.
http://www.mountaininstruments.com/ If you want one this is the time. You
can save $$$, time, and shipping costs.

Thanks,
Frank Martin

Wil,

I'm sorry I forgot to mention that I'm only interested in the GOTO
model. Although other than the servos are the two not mechanically
identical? Any chance you could either provide me the email of your
friend with the goto or pass my request on to him?

So how do you like your MI250 and how does your friend like his?

Thanks,
John
