This reminds me of one of my favorite memories: watching a total lunar eclipse
while attending a concert at the Hollywood Bowl with my wife. Wine, cheese,
classical music ... very romantic.
Using my planetarium software, I just identified the date: Wednesday, August
16, 1989. The eclipse was total at moonrise, and for 80 minutes afterward.
The moon left the umbra at 10 p.m., which would have been about the same time
the concert ended.
Congratulations on your anniversary, Bernie.

Your question is answered on today's Astronomy Picture of the Day (http:
//antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap041029.html). "Though lunar eclipses can
occur twice a year, this eclipse is perhaps remarkable for being the first
total lunar eclipse to occur during a World Series baseball game."
Nothing about your anniversary, though.
