I wouldn't disagree that it's sad, but I'm doubtful that the light pollution 30
miles west of Boston has changed considerably in the past 10 years. The light
pollution map shows the site to be pretty far gone.

But the story does answer a great astro-trivia question: where is the largest
telescope east of Texas? I would have never guessed correctly.
