I was out observing last night near AZ City. A VERY minimal number of
Leonids last night, I can testify to!
We did manage to see comet Macholz at about 1 am. No tail, but plenty of
out-gassing surrounding the comet. Much better than comet Neat- for which
we saw no tail at all!
