//Sinus Sabaeus is visible at 2:30 these days, but Syrtis Major is still //around the back side of the planet anytime after 1:00 a.m. Tom, I have to revise my time here. I was on the road home at 2:45, and it takes me 1 hour + to tear down, so the latest it could have been was 1:30 or so. We started abserving Mars a little after moonrise at about 1:15. S&T's Mars profiler shows Syrtis Major as near the proceeding edge at 1-1:30am, 8-8:30 UT for the 22nd. Is this correct? If not, maybe I saw a new, previously unknown, feature. Or maybe I saw something that wasn't there, probably because of the terrible conditions last night . . . Maybe I am using the Profiler wrong. Hmm. . . Matt --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
