Very cool!
Must be a thrill to see the mirrors that you helped polish are in action
on the mountain.
I took that Discovery Park Science Center Tour to the LBT several years
ago before the mirrors arrived at the observatory. It was a great tour
and I recommend it to all on this list if you can make it out to
Safford, AZ.

Early this month I was able to arrange a trip to the LBT observatory on
Mt
Graham with project scientist John Hill. His reason for going up was to
give a tour to the docents from Safford's Discovery Park science center.
