agreed.  it's *very* easy and convenient to get to but the lights were 
incredibly annoying. well, while watching meteors, not such a big deal but 
if i'd actually wanted dark skies and good observing with telescopes, both 
the truck stop lights (high on poles) and the card headlights coming over 
mountain passes was just annoying.  i'd love to see if there is something 
further south down that road that would work.
